FREAK DREAM

Freak Dream started as a solo recording project and live band created by Vancouver BC based musician Elliot Fanglord. In 2018 he was joined by Ryan Gambles on drums (Dirty Spells) and they developed a live show that combines elements of rock and electronic music, using both live and electronic instrumentation to bring dense layered recordings to life. The band has played shows in a dozen countries across North America and Europe. In mid 2018 the band signed with Toronto based label Artoffact to release their debut album “Into The Sun.” Into The Sun's first single “Don't Wanna Be That” was featured on Spotify's “New Punk Tracks” playlist and it's music video was premiered by Punknews.com . A music video was also released for “Bash Hop” and was premiered via CVLT Nation. The band charted across Canada on college radio and received press in many publications. In 2023 the band was joined by Ronnie Swirl on bass, and is currently recording a new album.
