Backyard Fest is a 2 day music festival that takes place every May long weekend in downtown Nanaimo. Our aim is to keep art accessible, to celebrate and utilize our remaining shared gathering spaces, and to bring underground music to the forefront. The festival is a showcase of local talent, from haunting singer songwriters, to rippin' live bands.
